Account Executive – Local Media Sales (Radio)

The Role
We are hiring a B2B Account Executive to sell advertising solutions across our radio stations serving the Western Finger Lakes, Genesee Valley, and surrounding markets.
This is a front-line sales role focused on prospecting, meeting local business owners, and closing advertising campaigns. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline and earning income directly tied to your results.
This is not a marketing role.
This is not an account management role.
This is a selling role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prospecting local businesses by phone and in person
- Booking and running meetings with business owners
- Diagnosing business problems (calls, customers, revenue)
- Proposing advertising campaigns tied to outcomes
- Closing new business and growing accounts
- Managing your own territory and pipeline
- Following up consistently and professionally
- Getting paid based on what you sell and collect
Compensation
- Base salary + Commission
- No cap on commissions
- Realistic six-figure upside for top performers

Non-Negotiable Requirements
- You live in Penn Yan, Dansville, NY, or within a 35-minute drive
- Valid New York State driver’s license
- Dependable vehicle
- Willingness to prospect daily
- Comfort with commission-based compensation
